Overall it was a good microphone, not great for fidelity. But the mute button function stopped working between 1 and 2 months after purchase. The on-off function still works. We have the same model a few years old, and its mute function still works, but the microphone itself not longer works so we bought this as a replacement. It would be a better value at a generic price since it is not a reliable investment.

This was an addition to my current microphone system. Worked right out of the box. Sound quality is outstanding. Digital is the way to go.

I enjoy using the Audio Technica wireless mic because it performs as expected every time. When the mic I had was dropped and stopped working I found this one - at a fair price - it was easy to match to the receiver and is performing as well as the old one did.

Good sound quality and pick up pattern great for handheld presenters who don't always want to talk directly into the mic. Easy to use, good price.

The mic sounds great and looks good. It has a good, solid weight to it. It was easy to setup. Although, it picks up very well mostly from the top, it still allows a small amount of sounds from the side, which helps bring some natural ambience to the location shoot. I read the review about the mute button not working, but I believe the reviewer's mic may have had the 'mute lock' function turned on, which prevents the mic from being muted. There is a setting for that. I knock one star off because it does pick up some handling noise from the hand that's holding the mic. I'm using some tennis grip around it to resolve that.

I've not gotten to use it much, but within 2 hours of receiving it - the MUTE function stopped working. I used to believe in Audio Technica quality, but it appears as if they've gotten their quality wrong with the mic. These hand-held mics go through so much use, it would be much better if they provided a decent switch for on/off and one for mute - separate from the power.I am however, pleased with the auto-sync to the AT System 10 - ATW, the audio quality is great, when it does work. But as I said, I have to turn it off - as mute no longer works at all.
