HD 720P Rear-View Video Signal Output

Traditional car stereos can only take and display 400-600 lines CVBS rearview video signal. Working with specific ATOTO head-unit models, The AC-HD02LR can output an HD 720P rearview video signal, and you can have an HD color display on the ATOTO headunit. Say goodbye to the snowy static picture screen when reversing a vehicle.

How does the LRV feature Work?

ATOTO LRV (Live Rear-View) technology

Live RearView (LRV) Feature - Access Rearview even if the vehicle is moving ahead. This could remove obstructions of passengers, headrests, and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, increasing field of view and allowing the driver an unimpeded view of the lanes behind and traditional blind-spots. To use this feature, special wiring is required, see below for reference.

Easy Installation, compatible with selected ATOTO S8 (Gen2) models

CONNECTION

Unlike traditional backup cameras that are powered up by reversing lamp of the vehicle, AC-HD02LR is rewired to be powered by a head-unit or vehicle's ACC power (Accessory) wire. And built-in hardware in selected ATOTO head-unit is required to make sure camera's video signal can be read and displayed without putting your vehicle into reverse gear.

This camera displays a beautiful color picture and interfaces great with my new ATOTO A6PF.The cable length is long enough that I could run it down the drivers side to the rear, then across to the passenger side, then back to the drivers side through the swinging back hatch of my car where the license plate was. Not a direct route due to the swinging door, but I even had length left over.I love how this camera works with my A6PF and I can utilize the RView app on the head unit to view the rear camera any time, not just while backing up.I highly recommend this camera and the ATOTO support team

The atoto rear view camera has a great quality picture. Very clear and works extremely well in low light conditions. Makes night, look like day! Had a great 4 months before after a heavy rain fall. The jeep is usually kept indoors but one night it wasn't an option. Picture began to flicker, which I thought was probably just a loose connection. Now it's just completely dead. Wiring was checked but still no picture. Although it didn't last long, it was still a pleasure to use. I wish there was more effort into water proofing the camera. If your punching this device, as long as you don't get a faulty one, you'll be pleasently surprised.

This product does provide an excellent Clear View during the day and at night in well-litted areas. Does not work so well in extremely low light areas and is a little grainy

Excellent camera nice resolution. Pairs well with the Atoto head unit running the wire and installing the camera is very time consuming however it is well worth it.

I installed the camera behind my license plate using double-sided tape between the camera bracket and the car body to keep it in place. Fastening the license plate on top of it keeps it secure. The camera is much clearer than my previous ATOTO camera -- especially at night -- and no additional lighting is needed beyond the car's tail lights and backup lights. It won't work with all ATOTO head units so make sure you order the right camera according to your individual head unit.

It’s OK easy to set up little flimsy. I can see you in a couple of years rotting out because of salt. A parent Canada would love to eat outside metal with our salted roads in the winter.

Awesome build quality made out of metal not plastic! Great picture quality day and night. Not a huge viewing angle. Like one would get on a back up camera on a mirror. Vehicles behind you look much much farther away than they appear in your rearview mirror though. A little hard to get used too.

I'm giving this backup camera 3 stars due to several issues I encountered during installation and use.Firstly, the labels taped to the wiring harness were incorrect, leading to an issue where the reverse lights lit up as soon as the car was turned on. This was due to the accessory 12V line sending power to the reverse light circuit, rather than the reverse light circuit sending power to the head unit as a trigger signal. It took some troubleshooting with a multimeter to resolve this.Additionally, the tilt adjustment screws on the unit tend to loosen due to vibrations while driving, necessitating the application of threadlocker to maintain the desired camera angle. The camera also comes with a bulky wiring harness that uses RCA and barrel power connectors. To avoid drilling an unnecessarily large hole in the trunk for the wires, I found it necessary to strip, cut, and splice the wires for a cleaner installation. Once you strip away the insulation, the wires themselves are only about 24 gauge thick each. While someone with experience in DC electrical work might find the installation manageable, I would not recommend this camera if you are new to car electronics or for those planning to hire a professional installer. You may end up paying significantly more for diagnostic labor if installation issues arise. The provided manual is not very helpful as it is written in poor English.Overall, this device from a generic manufacturer functions adequately once you resolve the initial complications. However, do not expect the level of quality control you might find with car audio name brands like Kenwood, Alpine, or Pioneer. There’s a reason they sell their cameras for at least 5x the price.

I bought this as an addition to my A6 PF 9" unit for my wife's car. Comes with a very long cable and very easy to hook up. One cable carries all the wires necessary for this to function. The camera end of the cable has two additional wires sticking out of it to connect to ground and +12v on your reverse lights, so that the camera can signal to the head unit that the car is in reverse and switch the screen to camera input. This works great. The image quality is fantastic. I was a bit worried about quality but I heard great things about these cameras and they did not disappoint. The mounting bracket is also very handy and makes for a very quick install, just slip it behind a license place and it's a clean look without looking out of place. All that is visible is the small camera square. Would recommend!

I bought this back in September and just got around to installing it beginning of November. It was easy to set up. No calibration instructions but I got it figured out. Great night vision. Then 2 days ago it just stopped working. When i put my truck in reverse, the audio lowers like it should. Screen switches to the back up camera and shows just a black screen with the guide lines but no video. If I go to the live button it says no signal detected. Very frustrating that it only worked around a month. Checked all wires, no nicks or cuts even though there was no way they could have been, connected to the back of the unit still, connected to reverse. I specifically bought this because I love head unit I bought from this company but I will look for a diffrent brand camera now. Not going to keep wasting money on a product that only works a little more than 30 days.
