Being a larger guy, it's always a bit of a guess how well X sizes will actually fit. Prior reviews had mentioned these running on the more generous side so I used the size chart, but ordered one size lower. I'm glad I did, these fit perfect and would have likely been a bit too big otherwise. The material and construction are good, soft to the touch without feeling flimsy and the stitching looks to be durable.I really like having both open and zippered pockets in the front, and they are of a good size. The back pocket could be better, but it seems to be a common failing of every pair of swim trunks I have ever owned. they are always too small and too loose and rarely have zippers, which this pair does not. I've never had a usable back pocket on any swim trunks. I would rather they just leave them off if they are not going to make them secure enough to actually use. Even the smallest or lightest item seems like it would just fall out of any of these small loose back pockets.

This review is for the Arcweg Men's Big & Tall Swim Trunks - Quick Dry Board Shorts with Compression Liner & Zipper Pockets. The Good: Fit, comfort, zipper, pockets! The Bad: Nothing! The Ugly: Absolutely NOTHING!The Long Review: Took these on holiday for a week and wore them daily, both in the pool and hot tub. If you are someone who has those nylon mesh lined swim trunks - do yourself a favor and BURN THEM! These have SUCH a comfortable liner, that honestly it felt like I was wearing a nice pair of shorts - that I could swim in!They've been put through the wringer of heavy chlorine with no fade or other issues, and left to dry to be tortured again and again for a solid week before they were put into the laundry and came out 100%.The zipper pocket was such a joy as well - my old trunks had a hidden inverted pocket in the liner made out of the same uncomfortable mesh, but it was barely big enough to slip my hotel key card into. Those days are gone as well - this company knows how to make a nice pair of swim trunks. The zipper pocket held my key card perfectly, with zero worry of it slipping out - even on the slides! The fit was great, the elastic works well without being binding, and the drawstrings allow anywhere from "Relaxed" to "I'm paranoid my shorts will fall off on the slide!" level of tightness.Final Thoughts: I can't stress this enough - these are *really* nice, good quality swim trunks. Get yourself a pair and you'll see the difference for yourself!

Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful. As a big guy, I am always having to order up a size or two)or more) on clothing items here on Amazon. I normally wear a 3XL and have a bit of room to spare. I checked out their size chart, and it indicated I needed either a 4 or 5XL. I ordered the 5 so that it wouldn't be too small. Well, it turns out that these are generously sized, and ended up being too large. Fortunately, they have a draw string waste, so I will still be able to wear them. The other thing to note is that these are cut very long. The go down to the middle of my shins! They are more short pants than shorts. I will be hemming these up quite a bit. The leg openings are quite generous also. If you got some thunder thighs, you will most likely still have plenty of room with these. Good material, and made, with a comfortable boxer brief style liner make these a win, just order accordingly.

✍️ The Arcweg Men's Big & Tall Swim Trunks are a fantastic choice for anyone seeking high-quality, stylish, and functional swimwear. Made with a thicker, softer fabric, these trunks are not see-through and offer a comfortable fit with a generous inner swim liner that extends down the legs like trunks rather than briefs. The quick-dry fabric is a convenient feature, while the compression liner provides support without feeling restrictive.✅ Pros:- Thick, soft fabric that’s not see-through- Quick-dry material for convenience- Compression liner for comfort and support- Multiple secure pockets, including a hidden zipper pocket❌ Cons:- Sizing may run larger than expected for some; check the size chart carefully- May fall below the knee for shorter individuals🏗️Design: 9/10💪Durability: 9/10🤖Functionality: 9/10💰Value: 9/10Star Rating: 5⭐ - Stylish, Comfortable, and Perfect for Big & Tall Swimwear Needs🙏🏻 Thanks for reading my review, and I hope it helps!

I had to go back and check the original order, because I was sure I'd made a mistake in ordering. The size chart says that the XXL has a waist size of 38.5 inches, and the 3X has a waistband of 40 inches. I ordered the XXL and was worried they would be too SMALL. But instead, these are much too BIG. The waist is 42 inches at least, and that's without stretching, because they have elastic and a drawstring too.I'm really sad, because these shorts are otherwise beautifully made. They have a back pocket with a velcro closure and a drainage hole. They have two slash side pockets, and a hidden zipper pocket in one side. The inner swim liner is generous, going down the legs like trunks rather than briefs. The color is really deep and rich too. If only they were a touch smaller. Sad.
