I purchased this mailbox Oct 2024. Today, Feb 2025 the door fell off, it was welded on so I have no way to reattach so I am forced to go buy a new mailbox. Don’t waste your money on this mailbox

For reasons unimportant to this review, I've purchased many of this particular model mailbox. Not as well-built as this company used to make this exact model. Actually had a very small hole in the top weld where rain could get through. But still a decent product so giving it 4 stars.

Solid construction with great exterior coating. Interior needs a little help to cover unprotected areas and rear panel needs sealant. Both should be addressed by manufacturers at this price level.

This was a replacement for a 30+ year old heavy steel mailbox that weighed 55 lbs. Fortunately, this one doesn't weigh that much, so it was easy to install. It holds as much as the previous box, which is good for a rural route. So far it seems to be good. The magnetic closure works well.

This mailbox is well made and just the right size to hold larger mail, like magazines and small boxes. It was also easy to install.

I've had one of these mailboxes for over 5 years - it was great and perfect until some drunk driver hit my mailbox and post in the middle of the night. Note that the front flap attaches to a strong magnet inside the mailbox which is the great feature and why I wanted the same mailbox again. So I ordered the same mailbox from Amazon.Unfortunately, the new mailbox arrived with screws sticking out along the bottom of BOTH sides (which will rust), airgaps at the back of the mailbox which will let blowing rain in, and the front door flap is misaligned with the top making it difficult to open and close the front flap.Note the photo does not show any screws sticking out (other than for the flag). I called the company - they said they had not redesigned the mailbox, there are not supposed to be any screws at the sides of the box, and there is not supposed to be an airgap at the back. They said it was manufactured outside the US. Clearly they have not bothered to look at what is being manufactured by their foreign supplier. They said they could not help me, that I should contact Amazon. I asked if they had a warranty for it and I asked for a supervisor to call me back. No response.The quality of this mailbox has gone down hill and clearly the company doesn't support it's product. Too bad as they used to make the best mailbox out there.
