Why Aquor?
The Next Generation of Outdoor Faucets

Why Aquor?
Crafted for Durability
Manufactured from 316L stainless steel and crush-proof acetal polymers. Lead-free, non-toxic, and corrosion resistant materials to last decades.
-
Why Aquor?
Leak-Free Seals
Rather than a century-old screw-and-washer design, Aquor has a single operating rod design that seals using water pressure and ultra-reliable O-rings to prevent excessive wear and tear.

Why Aquor?
Quick Connections & Instant Water Access
Forget threading garden hoses every time you need to access water. Attach the hose connector to your garden hose and leave attached. Simply push and twist for instant water access. Unplug to automatically drain, seal, and winterize.

Why Aquor?
Automatic Winterization
Aquor hydrants insulate up to 7x better than brass and automatically winterize. Upon disconnection, the hydrant seals, drains, and winterizes. Stainless steel hydrants are also less conductive and can maintain temperatures that help prevent both moisture buildup and freezing pipes.
Make Sure You Have the Right Outdoor Faucet Size
-
Where is your faucet located?
To size your hydrant, you need to know:
- Type of siding
- Faucet connection location (in-wall, basement/crawl space, or T-wall)
- Framing Depth (2x4 or 2x6, simply check the depth of your front door)
-
Plumbing connection in-wall & 2x4 studs
Consider these sizes:
- Lap Siding/Stucco <2" > 2” stem with Aquor elbow inlet
- Stucco/Brick <5" > 6” stem with Aquor elbow inlet
-
Plumbing connection in-wall & 2x6 studs
Consider these sizes:
- Lap Siding/Stucco <2" > 4” stem with Aquor elbow inlet
- Stucco/Brick <5" > 6” stem with Aquor elbow inlet
-
Plumbing connection in crawl space: 8”, 10”, 12”
If your plumbing connection is in a basement or crawl space, ensure the hydrant extends through the wall into the open space. Length depends on the pipe's distance from the wall. Consider the siding.
-
Plumbing connection in floor joist: 8”, 10”, 12”
Outdoor faucets are often placed in floor joists or T-wall locations for added freeze protection, especially in colder areas, you will likely need a size 8”-12”.
Still Unsure? For the best freeze protection, install the hydrant's back end in a heated or insulated space. Check the size guide in the main photos or reach out for more guidance.

Step 1
Remove Existing Inlet
Remove existing inlet by unscrewing counterclockwise. Ensure the O-ring on the hydrant body is properly seated.
Note: DO NOT use Teflon tape on hydrant body threads. This may cause leaks. Only use Teflon tape on plumbing connection (fitting) threads.

Step 2
Hand Tighten New Inlet
Hand tighten new inlet on hydrant body by threading clockwise. Rotate counterclockwise until it's positioned in the correct direction for installation. The O-ring will keep a watertight seal up to 360° from full lock, up to 250 PSI.
-
Step 3
Connect to Plumbing
Connect to plumbing using an adapter, then check for leaks and test the hydrant operation.
For PEX joints, wait 10 minutes for it to shrink down and set before turning on the water.
If possible, use an expansion loop of PEX for easy plumbing maintenance down the road.
-
How do I know what stem length I need?
Our Hydrants are consistent with industry standard sizing. In order to properly size your hydrant you will need to know your type of siding and depth of framing. Depending on your exterior siding, you may want to opt for a longer stem length.
-
Can I install Aquor myself? Is it difficult?
Yes, the Aquor House Hydrant is similar to replacing a traditional spigot. You just need access to your plumbing and some tools. Install on any siding type and attach to your water supply line. Typically takes about an hour to install one hydrant.
-
What's the difference between the V1+ and V2+ hydrant?
House Hydrant V1+ - circular entry hole makes it easier to retrofit and an external vacuum breaker
House Hydrant V2+ - oval entry hole, best for new construction, built-in vacuum breaker
-
Can I leave my hydrant connected year round?
Its best to unplug your connector from the hydrant after use, especially during the colder months to ensure proper drainage and winterization. You can leave your connector attached to your hose, just be sure to depressurize your hose before storing.
-
What does it mean to have backflow protection?
Back flow prevention devices, such as vacuum breakers and check valves, prevent the back flow of dirty water into your home’s water supply. Plumbing codes vary, so check your local codes to see what products you’ll need.
