I've used Aquarian SuperKick bass drum heads for more than 20 years - and they last and sound great. The SuperKick II is my "go to" for a 22" bass drum. I've used the SK I (single ply) on my 18" kick and it performed very well. Regardless of the heads I choose for toms/snare - always Aquarian SKII for the kick. This was the first time with the Aquarian reso head, and I have to say - the set together gives a very nice controlled sound!

The regulator head complements the batter head and gives the drum a deep resonant sound. I’ve tried them independently and it’s not the same as using them together. Recommended for all bass drums!
