Product DOES NOT fit left side of 2004 Acura TSX just as a caution to anyone. Even though it states in the description that it does! It requires a totally different mechanism for moving the arms.

My blend door was stuck only blowing air from my front window vents on my 2007 Acura Tsx. Made sure that it was my mode actuator out of the three actuators on my hvac system. Replaced with this unit and reprogrammed using my after market climate control system. Works great did a sweep through all modes and now have air coming from vents when selected. Thank you so much.

I use this as a front mode, selector motor, even though it’s titled as a blend door actuator. A blend door, actuator switches your climate control from hot to cold. A mode selector motor switches the direction of the airflow from your defrost to your feet to straight at your face. So if your air won’t change directions, and is stuck on one of the modes when you have a bad mode selector. If you’re having trouble finding your mode selector on early 2000s Hondas, you usually have to drop your glove box and kick panel which should just pull off if you tug on it. Then get down on your hands and knees and it will be in the cavity on the left-hand side, like you see in the picture. you will need a bit driver and A Phillips bit. You also need to remove a couple relays that kind of get in the way of your hand. The electrical connection you can do by hand or just take out the four screws let it drop down where the kick panel was and remove it without tugging around and damaging stuff. When you install the new mode, selector, make sure you line up the two white arms with the peg and holes on the rotating arm on the new selector motor. Also, don’t reinstall it with the vehicle on because the motor will try to turn by itself without you telling it too, and you’ll end up having to take it apart to reset it. then, after bolting it up, I would test it before putting everything back together because those plastic arms like to pop off if you don’t get them perfect. Hope it helped because I didn’t see anyone else put anything out about how to do this

Bought this part in place of oem. Worked for a day or so removed and installed oem and no issues now. Very cheaply made. Would not recommend. Outside the return window or I would send back.

Used this on a 2004 honda accord EX with manual ac controls. Was having trouble swapping the air direction. This fixed my issue. Highly recommended.

Blend door stopped working on 2008 Acura TSX. Deal list price is over $200. It is not easy to install this on a TSX. It's only 3 screws but you have to remove glove box and shield. You will need to kneel on the ground next to car to reach it. Each screw is different to reach You will need a stubby phillips and a 1/4 inch phillips bit, u-joint, and a foot of extensions to reach screw at proper proper angle. Make sure that the new part engages the door. Once I got it in I tested and it works perfect- just like OEM. Original part was made by Denso part no PP-GF20M20k or 063800-0041, 12v 10j 3822. You might want to change the cabin air filter while you are down there. It's easy to reach once you removed the glove box.
