The filters should be replaced each season that you use the humidifier. This is a smaller filter that I use in my bedroom in winter time when you have to use the heat and the air gets really dry. Works well in adding moisture to the air.

They perform very well as far as water absorption goes. I am very happy with that aspect.It would be nice if the fabric could be soaked in Vinegar yo remove hard water build up. That would extend the life and reduce landfill waste...or, make them from a compostable material.

The filter isn't as strong as the one that comes with the humidifier when you buy it. It seems a lot thinner, more fragile. When you get them they are flattened like the factory product and you have to soak them in water as you do the factory ones. Then you install it in the humidifier. Being more fragile be careful, you don't tear it. All in all, 2 for the price, I would buy it again. It worked just fine last night! Also, if you soak the filter daily, it keeps it much cleaner and healthier.

It was easy to install ! But the six a pack was better value ! Next time I'll order the six / a pack ! The 2/a pack was expensive compared to the 6 / a pack !

The filters go in and fit perfectly fine. They are just like the original Honeywell ones. The only thing I don't like is that the water makes them get damp and do not last as long. They should have the bottom made from something else.
