These bits work fine. I needed something I could use with an extension for modeling projects.

I got these bits to use in drilling a hole in a crankshaft so that I could insert a locking pin. I was using a air powered drill motor. I was amazed at the speed that the bit drilled into the forged end of the crankshaft. I was dreading laying under the car for an extended time pushing on the drill. There was no problem. The drill bit into the crankshaft with very little effort and I was finished in no time. I might be that the bit is more prone to breaking due to its hardness but I did not have any breakage.

a great deal for sure. The case is very sturdy and should hold up very well. For the price and definitely for their attention to detail on the product/packaging - all winning requirements in my book, I give it 5 stars without hesitation.

Great little set. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the case doesn’t hold onto the bits very well and that tend to pop out when you are trying to get a different bit. Despite that, I’ve enjoyed them.

Really convenient to have the extra small diameter sizes that I keep breaking. Good drills.

wish they were brad point but they work well for me -- heavy toward the smaller bits -- quick change -- I seem to break or misplace bits before I wear them out in sharpness so these are my go to --

They have a sticky substance on the hex part and it's probably there to try and keep the lock pin from backing out, leaving the bit to slip inside the hex. Every one I have used the pin backs out in use unless you can set it all the way in the drill chuck to get one of it's jaws to hold the pin in. For me, it's just easier to discard the hex part and use the drill bit like a normal one. These are tempered a bit too brittle. The dewalt version is a much more durable bit. I use these at an aluminum fab shop, mostly for drilling vent holes in aluminum. I'll get some use out of what I have left, but will not be buying these again.
