None of the reviews mentioned the size being off, so I wanted to add my review. The skates look like they are fine quality, however we ordered 2 sizes up from her street shoes so they would last a year or two and they are the same size as her current street shoes!So much for growth! I have to return and reorder, a size 2 instead of a 13 for my size 11 girl!

Bought this for my daughter. We paid for blade sharpening before using them, which is very common with new pair of ice skates. It would have been fine for her to use it the first time without sharpening, but we knew she'll be using it more than once so might as well sharpen it before. It lasted 2 winters (we bought a size bigger), now it's being passed onto the next kid.

This is the product for beginners. When you start to do some advanced movements like cycling it’s too soft and can’t give you enough support.

These are cheap quality skates, you get what you pay. Laces are way too long so we have to tie around the ankle many rounds and the flap is too small so when you tie the lace, knot falls on the leg and after some time it hurts. Shoe is not comfortable at all. The flap does stay at one place or at the center; it tends to slip on to the sides. Overall I am not satisfied, since I have already sharpened it; I will stick to it for few months then toss them off.

I got these for my 5 year old to have for skating lessons. She loves them. They are great quality for the price. She will easily be able to use them till she outgrows them and then her little sitter will be able to use them as well.

Great little skates for my beginner daughter. Were just a little bigger than her shoes size, but accommodates for a thicker sock and growing room. Came nice and sharp.

i took the advice of some other posters and bought one size big and glad i did. they fit perfectly. no complaints about sores or hot spots. they look great too, my daughter said they were "just like the big girls."
