I’m working on a project made from ambrosia maple, which is a soft wood very prone to tear-out. I decided I needed a higher-quality router bit than my previous one, and this bit did not disappoint. This is my first Amana bit, and I am extremely impressed. No tear-out, even going against the grain. Just looking at the quality of the grind on the tungsten I can tell this is a step above my other router bits (some of which are American-made name brands as well). I came straight from the shop to write this review, that’s how impressed I was. If you need a top-end flush trim bit, this is the one to get.
