私は、アルトでメイヤーエボナイト のGモデル（ちょっと普通のメイヤー より細身）で使ってみたのですが、何かが合わないみたいで、リガチャーが前に滑ってきてしまうのです。 そんなに顕著にそうなるわけではないのですが、リガチャーの内部がツルツルなこともあって、微妙な締め付けになってしまいます。 音程を合わせるために、リードを装着した状態で、マウスピースをひねるわけですが、滑って、外れてしまいます。

音がまとまるうえ、なおかつ、吹いていて無駄なシンドさがない。正締のもつ安定感を得つつ、自由に吹ける感じがとても良いです。ゴッツのセピアトーンラバーに使ってますが、直径が大きめのマウスピースのため、若干無理してなじませる感はあります。個体差もあると予想されるので、自分は「当たり」だったのかもしれません。それでもこの値段でちゃんと音楽的にサポートしてくれるリガチャーは初めてです。

This ligature replaced one originally purchased in 1970 that one of the pressure bars had popped off of. This is an old and I believe well respected name in saxophone ligatures.

I have never been a fan of expensive ligatures. I have used a bonade since the 80s and always end up coming back to it

I love this ligature. We use it on my daughter clarinet, alto sax, my tenor sax and my C-Melody. Fits well, proper tension, and lets the reed vibrate freely. Very good for beginners and intermediate players, I know a few pro's who also love this ligature.
