I bought a double bass pedal off of a certain social media's marketplace under the impression that it was new with all parts. Unfortunately, the drive shaft was missing. I did not want to break the bank ordering the OEM part that was supposed to have come withe the pedals, so I took a chance on this one and it is exactly what I needed! The only gripe I have is that it didn't come in more colors. Not that anyone is going to see it behind the kit, but I see it. However, that is just a personal preference and is just me moaning. The drive shaft itself works perfectly, and fit the pedals without any fuss or concern! In case you are wondering, I put this on a Tama Iron Cobra 200 double bass pedal.

Doesn’t fit DW 7000. Ends are rounded- connections on the 7000 are square

Can’t speak for the longevity but it does the trick! Lost the center piece for my DW4000s when I moved the set. Seems to be decent build quality and uses a standard drum key to tighten.

Dopo due live il piccolo perno che serve a tenere lo snodo da collegare al pedale si è perso staccandosi dal pedale..Purtroppo è finito il periodo per il reso..

Had it for a couple of months and so far it doesn't seem to be twisting or loosening from torque. Can't really ask for much more. Could maybe be longer, but I'm tall with big feet; 6'1" with size 13E shoes, so I like extra room. For an average person this will create plenty of room between the pedals.

This thing was a major disappointment, but the what did I expect at this price point?I'm in two working bands and my Speed Cobra 900 goes with me to every practice and every gig, so I'm taking it apart and putting it in the case a lot. I've had it about two years, and recently managed to strip one of screws that holds it on to the remote pedal. I figured I better get a backup before something else happens and it becomes unusable. This shaft seemed like a quick and cheap alternative, and I was holding out hope that it could be a permanent replacement.Instead, it's completely unusable. In the first picture, it looks pretty much identical to my stock shaft. The second picture shows where it attaches to the main pedal. The round component that hooks on the pedal is thicker than the stock one and it rubs on the spring below. I had to push relatively hard to get it on, and when playing it doesn't let the spring rotate on the shaft. Also, the shaft is too short! I didn't think I played with my pedals further apart that most others, but maybe I do. In any case, I have room to spare with the stock shaft, but this one is about two inches too short. (That's NOT what she said.)This piece of junk is going back to the seller. Don't waste your time with it.I guess I'm just going to have to pony up the money for the Trick Drums version. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
