Very good for the money. As long as you get good welds, you can stand on the thing and it won’t bend. Very good quality. Doesn’t feel cheap.

I shopped every battery tray available to mankind and finally took a chance on these. I bought 2 for trunk mounted batteries in a show car. They are sturdy, safe, easy to mount and you can paint them any color you desire. I would highly recommend these to my fellow Hot rodders that are tired of cheap flimsy over-priced battery hold downs.

I’ve fabricated battery boxes and hold downs for many projects, but I just didn’t have the time so I ordered this battery mount.It built very well and is very sturdy.I heated up the top overhang ears on both sides and bent them to lie flat and then added a piece of flat strap to attach the bottom.I didn’t use the supplied hold down either instead I cut and drilled a piece of flat strap that I painted with plastic paint.This product saved me time and works very well.

I heard the reviews about having to weld the battery hold down hardware on. It seems they've updated the design. They should update the photo here. Yes, the backing is perforated with 3 holes like others have mentioned (Looks more racecar, so fine by me). The hold down hardware is now the same angle bar and nuts, but the two studs are bent right before the end, and have a large flat head on that end. The battery tray has 3 small holes now that the bolts feed through. You insert the bolts and then tighten down the battery angle bar, the flat head of the bolt keeps it together, no welding needed.Anyway, the thing is well put together, square, and went on my HF trailer without any problems.
