Your cart is empty.Rubber reducer allows a lower radiator hose with a molded-in spring to be used as an upper radiator hose. In continuous high RPM applications, the upper hose can collapse limiting coolant flow. Upper hoses with an internal spring support can also collapse if the spring is drawn into the radiator tank. Reducer fits inside 1-3/4" lower radiator hoses which have molded-in reinforcement springs and reduces the I. D. from 1-3/4" to 1-1/2".

Item description/pictures aren't too helpful. Let me tell you my needs.Put on new water pump with 1 1/2' lower outlet but unfortunately the inset on radiator measured 1 7/8. This coupler enabled me to use a 1 7/8 radiator hose to connect to the water pump correctly!No fuss, no leaks. Well worth the price

I purchased an aluminum radiator and found out the bottom hose fitting was small than stock. This solved the problem and no leaks.
