Great Lower coolant hose for a 1998 Trans am and ls1 motor. i chemicial treat my hose with aero 303 for hose longevity. you cant go wrong.

I purchased this as a potential replacement for a lower radiator hose on an 1140 Case tractor because the original is no longer available. Amazon does not list the dimensions of the hose but the Gates Online Catalog shows a dimension of 1.27" diameter and 14.9" long. My application required a hose with similar configuration to this hose but with 1-1/4" ID on the radiator end and 1-3/8" on the water pump end. I had to cut about 1-1/2" off of the small diameter end for clearance fit between the engine and the radiator. This end fit the 1-1/4" radiator barb fairly well. The other end had an expanded diameter that was about 1-1/2" and was a very loose fit on the water pump 1-3/8" barb. I did manage to clamp the fitting tight enough to stop it from leaking. If the expanded end had been 1.27" I would have given it 5 stars.
