Doesn't stay in tune (pegs slip). Strings are extremely poor quality and 2 broke during tuning. By the time you buy better strings and pegs you might as well have just paid the extra money for a higher quality violin. It is a beautiful violin though which is why I’m giving it 3 stars.

Bought for a beginner. I didn’t want to spend a lot of $ in case kids didn’t enjoy playing. Has a very nice sound for the price. Strings need replacing but I expected that.

The case came damaged, looks like it left the shop that way and it should have been at least fixed before sending out. About a inch was apart on top of the case, thread hanging. For the 🎻 and bow it was perfect. It's very pretty and a 12 year old girl will be so happy when she opens christmas eve. Had back surgery so just getting around to do reviews.I would order again but when people pick you to order from at least give them something that isn't falling apart already.

Die Violine schaut zunächst einmal gut aus. Allerdings ist es eine Wissenschaft das Instrument zu stimmen. Die Wirbel verklemmen nicht gut, was nach dem Stimmen sofort aufgefällt. Geht glatt einen Ton runter. Alle Seiten dann einen Ton zu überstimmen klappt auch nicht, da dann die E-Seite reißt. Alles mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Einzig der Verstärkerausgang ist ganz ok.

Simply put, for the penance I paid for this violin, you cannot find anything better. I paid less than $150 for this violin. For that money you get a violin, with working fine-tuners, an under saddle pickup so you can go electric, a decent case, rosin, and a functional bow. Basically a complete ready-to-play kit of an instrument that is extremely versatile.I did need to do a basic setup and make some adjustments to the bridge height, but for this kind of money I expected that. It's easy to see where the cost savings came from, it isn't really an ebony board, it's painted black to look like ebony, as one example. But considering that it sounds fine and plays fine and it comes with all of the accessories, who cares?A perfect beginner instrument for a young kid showing interest in learning violin. Also a perfect tinker-toy instrument for the violin-curious musician to play with.

As other reviewers have pointed out, there was no rosin. I think better to have none than for it to be a mess in pieces. At least I knew ahead of time from the reviews; I bought it separately, along with a shoulder rest. Speaking of shoulder rests, a reviewer said the panel got in the way, and maybe it does a little bit, but it’s supposed to go on at an angle… There were a few nicks in the violin, but I’m okay with that; for this price, I wasn’t expecting perfection. Other reviewers were saying the tuning pegs were bad (so I bought extras), but I’m pretty sure they weren’t pushing in while turning (mine work fine, so I really shouldn’t have bought those extras); the violin came with pretty clear instructions and diagrams. I appreciated that little pamphlet for beginners. It’s stayed in tune a lot better than the cheap harp I bought recently. And as advertised in the picture, the violin is quite pretty. The case is sufficient for travel. Anyway, I’m thankful for the violin at such an affordable price.

It is awesome looking violin, but - you can hear its price and it after so long still stays ultra out of tune no matter how hard you try, in next 3 mins it just is out of tune. BUT . it is great violin to find out if you want to play it or not, since price is low.

For beginners, says comes with rosin but didn’t, rosin very cheap to buy though so no big deal. Pretty pictures on it.
