I needed to adjust the weight of my paper so that the embossing didn't impart tears to the surface of the paper. I think it will be find for heavier cardstock.

I've just started paper crafting and was looking for embossed paper for a wedding card. After researching I decided to try this folder without using a machine. I cut pieces for a different project, put them in the folder and used a rolling pin to go over the folder. Worked like a charm. This will be perfect for my card.
