This embossing folder really is something unique due to the incredibly raised texture it creates. Had no problem using it in my Big Shot with the base plate and single non-cutting top plate. I’m very impressed with this and I have a lot of embossing folders and plates for card making .

Great folder that creates a beautiful design. Since this is a 3D folder, normal plates won't work on their own, but if you use a shim, like a piece of cardboard or 4-5 pieces of cardstock on top of the folder, then you will get a perfect impression.

I use this product in my Sizzix Texture Boutique machine for leather, metal and chipboard to make jewelry. It works great. This is brass in the picture of a fairly strong gauge (can’t remember for sure). But I didn’t think it would work - and it didn’t until I removed one of the plates. Then it worked like a charm!

I followed another persons advice and spritzed water on the paper before running thru the machine. I use a Vagabond. The impression is Wow! and no ripping or tearing of the paper. I used card stock.

This is much much thicker then the normal folders, I love the quality and the image detail is amazing i love this 3D Textured look, going to order more styles. The price is really good too.

I have gotten a few 3d embossing folders and they are so impressive. This one does not disappoint! Provides a crisp, deep emboss and gives the paper a fantastic look. I recommend misting your paper before embossing to prevent the paper from cracking. I also recommend cutting the paper slightly larger than expected for the project, as it seems to shrink it slightly after embossing.I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrading their paper creations to a new level.

Love this 3d embossing folder. I have the cuttlebug and it works amazing well. To get the best impression spritz the paper with water first to help break up the fibers in the paper, it only takes the platform and one plate and run it three times I do it forward back then forward again and you get a deep beautiful three d impression. Learned all this from watching the sizzix video on 3d folders. But works the same in cuttlebug. Makes a basket weave type imprint. You won’t regret this purchase.
