The buttressed cutting edge, with an acute rake, makes the BLITZ BIT cut cleanly and accurately with less effort The extra clearance behind the side margin reduces friction, enabling balanced cutting action with closer hole tolerances, at higher speeds. Precision ground 135 degree split point is self-centering and reduces thrust. Designed for drilling the widest range of materials like mild steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous materials. The special 3-flat shank design provides a positive no-slip grip – ideal for cordless, keyless chuck and conventional power tools. Shorter overall length increases rigidity.

My son is a pipe-fitter/metal worker and when I asked him for a recommendation on a good set of bits this was his immediate response. I'm just a weekend warrior/garage tinkerer but I've been through probably 10 crappy bit sets in my adult life and I immediately noticed this one was different and will probably be the last set I buy.

Why does the have a belt clip? Like the drill bits work great but I’m genuinely curious about the belt clip. Do people actually carry it on their belt? Is there like a designated drill bit man on some jobs that just runs around with cups of bits on his belt?
