This is the kick pedal that came with my Alesis e drum kit. It's actually a pretty good kick pedal, at least it is on my e kit. I haven't tried it yet on my acoustic kick drum. Smooth and responsive. Perfect for any beginner or if you are on a tight budget. I would also say the same for Alesis e drum kits with the mesh heads. They're both quiet and a blast to play on. Practice your rudiments, kids!
