These containers are very impressive, reflecting a tremendous amount of design and engineering and a no-cut corners approach to producing the best and most practical, easy to use product.The plastic is very thick and can hold a substantial amount of weight with no difficulty whatsoever.The design regarding the stacking is brilliant. Simply by turning the boxes from to the other allows them to be stored within one another or easily stack them with assorted canned goods and/or misc. supplies.Taking their thickness into consideration, the boxes are actually light weight, but again, because the plastic is high quality with well designed reinforcement structure, they're super tough.I'm really impressed with these and would recommend them for your storage needs. They're not massive, so they're easy to fill, stack and store.Great design combined with great engineering always leads to a great product. These are a perfect example and I wholly recommend them.

These storage bins from Akro-Mils are really heavy-duty, industrial-quality containers. They're cleverly designed to nest together to save space when aligned, and to stack tightly together one atop another when turned 180 degrees (photo). The bins are sold without tops, but those are available too in packages of 6 from the manufacturer.We're sorting out decades of family photos, our own and those inherited from others, and these fairly shallow bins are just the right size to hold the envelopes of standard-size pictures from the days before digital images. The fact that they stack firmly on one another without pressing on the contents of the lower box makes them just about perfect for that task. It's easy to carry a stack of several of these without any worries about boxes slipping, and when filled and stacked they take up a minimal amount of shelf or floor space.

bought a 6 pack of nest and stack bins, lids did not come with bins, they cannot be stacked without lids, the listing should state this.

These were the most reasonably priced for this type of storage bin.They will double stack. You just have to watch the orientation.They do the job.

I use these for storing and transporting container candles I make. They are very sturdy, stack well and slid nicely across the carpet when needed
