How to replace and install the switch

REMOVE THE KEYCAPS WITH A KEYCAP PULLER

Remove the keycaps with a keycap puller.

REMOVE THE KEYCAPS WITH A KEYCAP PULLER

Remove the old switch with the switch puller.

PLACE THE NEW SWITCH ON THE RIGHT POSITION

Place the new switch on the right position.

GENTLY PRESS NEW SWITCHES INTO PCB

Gently press new switches into PCB.

Swapped in Akko Botany to replace the stock Gateron Blues that came with my keyboard (Keychron K6). Botany switches sound lovely, muted but with a satisfyingly rounded thwack. They have a very light touch but are pleasantly smooth right out of the box. Haven't run into any dud switches, packing is very secure so no worry about accidentally crushing pins during storage.
