From the Manufacturer

This tool will be useful to cut off welded studs, remove broken window tracks, cut worn door hinge pins, cut through rusted or frozen bolts, prepare area for proper weld and remove rust and paint. Other uses include: shape body filler, cut off exhaust pipes and blown out mufflers. All the power, half the noise! The AIRCAT tool line has a substantially reduced level of noise while retaining more power and torque. Our tools have been tested and shown to operate at 82-86 dBa (decibels), far below the OSHA guidelines. This feature benefits not only the mechanic but also the overall business. The patented tuned exhaust muffler technology, in all the tools, allows discharged air to pass without developing back pressure, thus retaining more power, while significantly reducing noise. AIRCAT has innovated through-the-handle exhaust design, which incorporates its revolutionary worldwide patented internal muffler/filter. The benefits include reduced hazards from breathing exhausted air particulates, the elimination of blow-by into the operators eyes and lungs as well as reduce noise. AIRCAT also incorporates a patented ergonomically engineered handle design to relieve stress and fatigue on the operators hands, wrists and arms. The patented AIRCAT handle offers better overall distribution of weight for a balanced tool and provides a unique grip that makes it easier to use for prolonged periods of time. AIRCAT offers a full line of pneumatic tools, including impact wrenches, air ratchets, reversible drills, die grinders, and cut-off tools. Established 1998 in Spokane, Washington AIRCAT is a line of high quality pneumatic hand tools that incorporates the unique and multi-patented exhaust muffler/filter technology. The AIRCAT tool line has a substantially reduced level of noise while retaining more power and torque. The AIRCAT impact wrench line offers both twin hammer and twin clutch mechanisms.

It works well. Lots of power. doesn't stall out like some of the other in its price range.

Worked for one day. I need to take it apart and figure out what failed. I’ll update my review after that.

This tool has paid for itself ten times over, from cutting off exhaust pipe where nothing else could reach, to slicing off the head of a Honda Civic MAP sensor hold-down screw that had rusted out and stripped, and because it was buried under the throttle body, NOTHING else could reach it, not even a dremel. Amazing power, reach, and ergonomics. CANNOT live without it. Period.

It's a quality piece, however, I think it should be used with larger, "high flow" fittings....I haven't tried that yet. The standard 1/4 in. fittings aren't letting it "breathe"...

This grinder matches up to other ones that I've used that cost four times as much. It's got great power and the low profile design definitely comes in handy for those hard to reach areas that no other grinders are able to match.

I use mine for aircraft support work fabricating , tools , stands , racks . Great air control lever … you can set it down without fear of bumping the on like other tools , no safety lockout to fight with . Super deep cut off tool with thinner wheels …nice sound level with muffler design .You need a good compressor to keep up with its air needs . It took a few day to seat the rotor vanes with Marvel mystery oil …. now feeling even stronger as a 4" tool . Nice shaft lock push pin above the red grip to remove the allen screw at the disc . Comes with a 90 degree handle that clamps on the silver area like most angle grinders . I would recommend it . PS I ran it the otherDay to cut a spline tube off a turbine gear . This was thick chromoly stock , while I pushed it hard it cut well the lower Rpm 4" wheel is deceptive . While it can stall , it cut fast with little wheel wear .PS I have some use on this unit , my rule is the fatter and longer the air tool handle is the .... the bigger the rotor and vanes = more power .It seems weaker than others , with the muffler and 4" wheel helping to appear weaker . still cutting with less pressure on the 4" wheel RPM drops even with a full compressor 125 psi . Enough for auto body sheet metal cutting ,thicker stock it fades . 3 inch wheels do better on some shallow cutter " basically like a lower gear " to keep the RPM up .

I purchased the Aircat 6275 in order to grind inside weld corners. The tool has proven to be far more useful and have used it for cutting exhaust pipe in very close quarters and cutting stainless steel hose with ease. It has the sleek design of a Ferrari but is built like a Sherman tank with a powerful motor. I have a number of air die grinders but the Aircat 6275 is by far the most useful one in my toolbox. I would recommend this tool to anyone who does fabrication or repair.
