I have never used a dethatcher before and was amazed at how well it works. My yard was so thickly matted, and I never realized it till using the Agri-Fab dethatcher. I noticed my tractor tires slipping and when I checked the dethatcher each prong had a ball of matted thatch. Easily removed by just sliding off. And was amazed at these balls consisted of all dead grass and some leaves that I hadn't removed yet, but no green grass at all! Great attachment!

Works pretty good as a drag behind could. A few more tines on the unit and maybe some replaements would be nice. Came fully assembled and thus there were no pieces to loose in the box durring.

Zum einen passte des Teil nicht in den "Master" zum anderen war der "Entmoosungseffekt" wie auch der Vertikutiereffekt, auch mit Zusatzgewichten auf dem Master, = 0 = Rückgabe;(

They put the attachment pin brackets on the wrong side,after I switched them it snaps on easy and works great.

Soyons clairs, ça ne vaudra jamais un scarificateur motorisé, mais ce n'est pas le même prix non plus. Cet appareil se fixe sur une structure qui étrangement n'est pas vendue sur Amazon, vous pourrez la trouver ailleurs aux alentours de 200€ et elle pourra recevoir d'autres accessoires. Coté efficacité, il a vraiment du mal à enlever la mousse, sauf si vous aviez mis quelques jours avant de l'anti mousse, et dans ce cas ça va un peu mieux. Pour ce qui est d'enlever le "feutre" de la pelouse, ça fonctionne bien à condition de faire plusieurs passages. Il est conseillé de travailler sur un sol humide et de croiser (un passage en long, un autre en large) mais à certains endroits, il a fallu que je passe au moins 4 fois pour que ça enlève vraiment tout. Les 2 patins métalliques empêchent aux tiges de trop descendre dans le sol, sauf que par moment celles de devant ne touchent pas terre! J'ai donc baissé un peu l'attelage de mon tracteur pour que ça attaque un peu, sinon il n'y a que l'arrière qui travaille. Globalement un bon produit qui va faire le plus gros, mais j'aurai préféré qu'il y ait encore plus de tiges, environ 10 de plus quitte à ce qu'elles soient plus serrées entre elles. L'ensemble parait solide, il est indiqué Made in usa, ça change un peu! En espérant vous avoir aidé dans votre choix! Belle et longue vie à tous!

The Agri-Fab system is really Good. I purchased the SmartLink Platform along with a Spike Aerator and a Dethatcher attachments. The system works Great together and is high Quality. I first aerated my 1+ acre yard when the soil was fairly dry (no rain in about a week) and it still penetrated tthe soil about 2 inches or more. I then dethatched the yard (first the rear then the front the next day) and the dethatcher pulled up about 10 large contrator bags of stuff out of the lawn. I found that dethatching and then mowing, then dethatching in opposite direction and mowing again worked best. I over seeding the lawn, including several bare spots) and the grass is coming up great. I expect a much better lawn next year.Now - my only complaint - Agri-Fab (as you will read in many other reviews - Pay ATTENTION Agri-Fab!) does a piss poor job of packaging thier stuff! All three pieces arrived in boxes that were damaged - from the inside out!!!! There is absolutely zero packaging dunnage used by Agri-fab to secure the parts in the box and heavy parts move and protrude out of the box. Additionally - the Master-Link unit box was missing several pieces of hardware that I had to purchase at Lowe's. Unsure if they fell out of the damaged box and ripped open hardware plastic bags or if they were never put in to begin with. Just be prepared, as many, many reviews have stated, to make a trip to hardware store for nuts. bots and clips that are missing. Agri-Fab - Please listen to your customers and improove packaging of your excellent equipment. It doesn't take rocket surgery to put some cardboard or foam dunnage in the box to stablize the product from getting damaged or breaking open the box for parts to fall out.

This SmartLink Dethatcher gets all the thatch cleaned out without damaging the grass. The stainless steel components hold up very well. I haven't noticed any rust at all. I spray WD-40 on all metal parts after every use just like they say to do. I love the platform concept. It is so easy to install. I actually returned another product and paid return shipping after seeing the platform concept of the Agri-Fab. It's far superior in versatility and functionality. It's worth it's weight in gold. I plan on getting all the attachments.

My yard had lots and lots of thatch that had built up over the years so I had several dead looking spots in my Bermuda lawn. This product along with the Agri-Fab SmartLink Master Platform did a good job of loosening up the thatch. I did find that I needed to weight this down with some existing cinder blocks we already had to get the most out of it. This wasn't a problem for me as I had read other reviews and knew it would probably be necessary. I didn't purchase a lawn sweeper , which I will be doing soon. If you have a lot of thatch or a large yard it would definitely save a lot of time removing it once this gets it all loosened up.Assembly was easy as is changing out attachments. We also purchased the aerator. I am a female and had no issues with assembly or changing attachments. The product appears to be relatively sturdy. I put some pretty heavy weight on it experimenting with how much worked best in our situation. I also over seeded some areas in the yard and newly seeded a pasture (5 acres) and used this to lightly cover the seed. We used it many times last summer and it has held up and worked very well.All in all this was a good purchase for us. Our Bermuda lawn got thicker and fuller last summer than it has ever been.
