This sled is much heavier and more solid than I expected. I mean that in a good way. It feels very heavy duty. Assembly was quick and easy. Having it rolled up for shipping does seem to make it want to remember that shape. Unrolling is not easy. I've got it hanging in the sun right now to hopefully allow it to unroll on it's own. It drags through the yard over the grass easily, even with weight. I imaging it'll do even better with ice and snow. I'm impressed with this tough big yard sled.

This drag sled will be a lifesaver for maintaining our 2.5-acre lot. Before, we were making endless trips with our wheelbarrow, but now we can clear fallen branches and yard debris in just a couple of hauls. The 50"x114" size seemed huge when it arrived, but it's actually perfect for bigger yard projects - we just loaded up all our spring pruning waste in one go.The material is tough as nails. We should be able to drag it across the yard, over gravel, and even some rocky areas without any damage. I like that it rolls up for storage - takes up barely any space when not in use. The galvanized cables are solid and make it easy to hook up to our ATVsOnly real drawbacks are that it's pretty hard to pull by hand when loaded (definitely need a riding mower or ATV), and it can be a bit awkward to maneuver in tighter spaces around our plant beds. Also, while the slick bottom helps it slide, it can tear up grass a bit if you're not careful turning corners.One big neg was my son was stabbed by loose cable strands while wrestling it out of box. It was a deep puncture but he seems OK so far. Might be better to wrap the cables on someting intended to be used by hand also, just my opinion.Overall, this thing should be a good addition to our property maintenance. Just know you'll need some kind of vehicle to pull it - this isn't really a "by hand" tool unless you're moving something super light. Also highly recommend using thick gloves.

This comes in a long heavy box. It is impressive in it's weight and I think that is going to result in durability as well. It's not so heavy for me to lift, but my young children needed help maneuvering the item. We are in the process of building an off-grid cottage and are constantly needing to move logs and brush and other stuff around. This will make that task much easier than having to pick them up and load them in a wheelbarrow or garden cart. We'll probably use our lawn tractor to pull it around, until I can get our atvs fixed. But either way this is a great addition and happy to recommend.

This mat is just what I needed. I have an acre of land and need to thin some trees from my property since there is so much shade, my grass cannot grow. I was a little skeptical about this until I saw this mat in person. I want real pictures instead of photoshopped pictures. The product description page shows a four wheeler pulling quite a heavy load. I don’t think that is possible. The truck picture shows a different mat being used. Pictures aside, this plastic mat is indeed a robust 1/8 inches thick. Beware that since it is so thick and comes rolled up, this mat wants to stay rolled up. I slowly, forcefully unrolled it and pushed it underneath my couch to straighten out somewhat. I then placed heavy objects on the ends to force it to lay flat. You will either need this mat to warm up in sunshine or carefully use a heatgun to get it to stay flat. The mat is very smooth and slippery so it will slide easily on the ground. The grommets are excellent grade and the 1/8 inch cable and hooks are heavy duty. I like the large oval holes on each side to easily secure a load. I will be using this to put a huge dumpster tarp bag container on top of this to throw my branches in and pull this mat by hand to my burn pile. This will save so much time and will be a lot more convenient. My lawn tractor does not have much torque to pull something like this. I can see this being used to haul a heavy animal when hunting behind a fourwheeler. This uses a thin gauge stainless steel pole that I am skeptical will be able to stay straight if pulling real heavy loads as shown in thebproduct description pictures. My only beef is that the stainless steel sled pole is 1 1/4 inches thick diameter, but only 1/32 inches thick - think of a shower curtain rod. I am thinking of using a chainlink fence section of thicker gauge pipe. The hardware seems to be adequate. This black plastic looks like the type that may be UV protected, but I will be storing my new treasure out of the sun and rain. This is a little pricey in my opinion, but the overall quality and durability is there except for the front pull pole.
