Quite like the product; my only ask in a future iteration would be to use a potentially more breathable or mesh like material that lets heat escape quicker. My use for these is mainly for play hockey out on the lakes when they're frozen so am generating lots of heat... and also for snowmobiling/snowboarding also generating lots of heat. Not a deal breaker as these work fine but I did notice they can get a tad warm when pushing the fitness up. Highly recommend! Love how easy it is to take the D3 pads in and out

Padding seems to feel weird at first but after riding for a bit you hardly notice. However shorts need to be hiked up pretty high to feel they protect the right spots. I did crash /fall off bike and it did not protect back part of hip bone. I am skinny guy so larger guys this might fit better.

These shorts are fantastic, they fit well and offer a choice of protection where you choose, lightweight, full movement. I’ve crashed in them and they probably took up 80% of the impact,,, all I know,is it hurts a lot more without them , no damage

As an older fellah, wearing protective gear is important while doing sports, ei: emtb, motorcycle / dirtbike riding. Haven't tested the crash rating yet however, it does supply a good amount of padding for uncomfortable seats.
