Thoroughly impressed with this water bladder. I purchased a similar sized one from MEC a while back and it’s started to leak, so I gave this one a go. Out the gate, the bag itself feels very well made and all the components (quick release, drinking end, filter, hosing) are made from a nice high quality plastic - genuinely better than what I bought from MEC.I didn’t even notice that it comes with TWO hoses. One standard one without the filter and one that’s included in a separate baggie with the filter; it’s pre-cut so you can add it inline without having to cut your other hose, as realistically you will be drinking clean water filled from home or a water jug in most situations.Bag itself has thick walls and nicely finished edges, not worried about it breaking or leaking like my old one. The hose is also pliable but not to the point that it’s constantly kinking and cutting off water. One of the hoses did come with a kink in it from being folded funny in the packaging, but I applied delicate heat with a hair dryer and massaged it out - perfect now.Another thing I LOVE is the fact that you can easily take the mouth peace apart to clean it - a problem I had with a few other water bladders in the past, eventually leading to mould issues. After rinsing out the bag and letting water run through the hose there was no weird plasticy flavour or anything when using it - another thing some poor quality bladders struggled with in the past.Basically, I liked it enough to write this short essay length review so take that as you will haha - highly recommend this brand and this water bladder!!

I was in the market for a new larger water solution for my backpacking / camping kit and came across this PuriBag 2L Hydration Bladder. What sold me on it was the advertised convenience of carrying and cleaning water on the go. Its rigid construction helps maintain its shape, making it easier to slide into a pack without collapsing. The wide-mouth opening makes filling and cleaning effortless, whether at a campsite or from a fast-moving stream. What truly sets this bladder apart is the built-in 0.1-micron filter in the hose, ensuring safe drinking water by removing bacteria without the need for extra filtration gear. The only downfall with this is you will have to suck a little harder than from a normal bladder hose but I'm willing to have to deal with this. The hose also detaches easily for quick refills and for cleaning. Whether you're trekking through remote wilderness or just want extra peace of mind on the trail, this bladder offers a reliable, efficient, and hassle free hydration solution.

This is a review for the Puribag Adventure Bladder. This hydration bladder is somewhat unique as it has two quick release hose assemblies. The standard or clean hose acts like any standard hydration system. The dirty hose has an in-line 0.1um hollow fiber membrane filter. The hoses and plastic seem to be good quality. I rinsed and soaked the bladder a few times and it didn’t really have any plastic taste. The opening in the bladder is a bit stiff. I need to prop it open with a wooden spoon to let if fully dry after cleaning. When you remove the quick disconnect hose, the bladder seals off and doesn’t leak. I guess you could stow this without the hose connected. The bite valve didn’t have any adjustment instructions, and I had to fiddle around a bit to get it to flow the way I wanted. The documentation was lax in general. The filter was a bit tricky to assemble. The barbed fitting on the clean side is somewhat large and it took some force to connect the two. On the upside, that will help it stay together. The hoses are removable so you can clean or replace the filter. I can drink pretty freely from the filter. It doesn’t restrict flow too much. The filter also comes with a cleaning syringe. This is good if you are drinking water with some sediment or plant fibers as those clog the filter. They don’t provide any test data as to how effective the filter is. They do have a published test report, but that system also used an additive chemical to purify the water. You need to do some reading and determine your own comfort level depending on your water source. The company seems reputable which does make me feel a bit better.

This is a nice quality water bladder that I find holds a good amount of water. Unlike my other water bladders that had screw on caps this opens at the top and a clip keeps it sealed. That might seem weaker but so far I havent had any leaks and the clip is quite sturdy. This makes it easier to clean and dry. My other water bladders always seem to have drops of old water in them. There are two hoses, one that comes already attached and is for use with clean water. This is a standard water bladder hose with a bite to drink nozzle. It has a lock on it and a cap to avoid leaks. It can be detached from the bladder, there is a little button to press to unlock it. There is a valve there as well so when you detach the hose the bladder doesnt leak. The other hose is a 3 part hose that includes the filter for drinking dirty water. The instructions aren’t very clear but I think I figured out which way the parts are attached. The fittings are quite tight but I figure they need to be to avoid leaks.Water out of the bladder and hoses tastes fine even when new. There is no plastic taste, though I did rinse them a couple of times before drinking from them for the first time. It’s winter now which limits my ability to get out but I’m glad to have them in my hiking pack for the summer.

Works fine, but it's a pain to set up. The hose that fits onto the filter is extremely snug, and it has a bite valve that needs to be clicked forward to use. Not mention of that feature anywhere in the instructions, so it took a while the figure and that it was locked and not just broken. Decent quality, would buy again.
