This is very unsafe for kids. There is a big thick piece of metal inside that is not stitched up and is exposed right near the wrist where you put your hand in this sliding mitt. Very dangerous!

It is just what our 12 year old grandson needed to provide a bit more safety when he slides. We worry less about a dislocated thumb or a broken wrist now! These kids can slide hard with a lot of power behind them!
