This FDE/TAN body color RED Dot is one of ADE's newest product in 2022. ADE is now offering FDE body color optics for several of ADE’s popular red dot models. The FDE standards for Flat Dark Earth, it is a Tan-ish color. This ADE’s FDE color will not 100% match every FDE color handgun on the market because every handgun company made their FDE color proprietary, however, it will look great even the color might be slightly darker or lighter. ADE Valkyrie is also available in BLACK body green dot.
ADE RD3-023 Generation 2 Valkyrie is a 4 MOA GREEN dot designed to fit any pistol with a PISTOL that is compatible with RMR/SRO, Holosun 407C/507C/508T footprint red dots.
The Valkyrie Gen 2 also fits name brand pistol manufacturer made Optics Ready pistols, such as S&W M&P 2.0 OP, IWI Masada, Smith Wesson MP C.O.R.E, CZ P10F/10C optics ready, Walther Q5 Match and Springfield XD/XDM/XDS OSP, Canik TP9 SFX/Combat, FN 509/45 Tactical, Shadow Systems MR 920 using pistol manufacturer provided plate marked for Trijicon RMR footprint.
Those name brand pistol manufacturer made "Optics Ready" handguns all come with several mounting plates/optic cuts marked for different brands of red dots, such as for Trijicon RMR, Shield RMS and Vortex Venom red dot footprint. The Valkyrie fits one of the pistol manufacturer provided plate marked that is compatible with Trijicon RMR.
ADE Valkyrie created a iron sight curve at the end of the body, and also added two white dots on the curve. For the rear of part of the red dot to become a "back up iron sight" to give enough distance to be a Co-Witness back up sight, in addition to the LED dot and pistol equipped iron sight.
For non-optics ready pistols that need to use an optic plate/adapter to replace the pistol manufacture equipped rear sight, ADE Valkyrie's rear white dot acts as a pistol factory original rear sight for Co-Witness
Dimension 1.79x1.18x1.4 inches. Weight 1.24 oz. Shockproof/Fogproof. Fully lockable windage/elevation. Operates with a single CR2032 battery. The battery compartment is underneath.

Comes with removeable pic plate, with two screws provided. The provided screws might NOT work with EVERY compatible pistol listed. ADE makes the red dot to accept the industrial standard footprint. The pistol manufacturer makes the optic cut/slide for the same footprint, but they have their own opinions to decide which type screws that the screw holes take.
ADE Does not know the screw spec every pistol manufacture used for their screw hole. Please ask the pistol manufacture what screw specs they used on the hole and ask them to provide the screw. If you can’t get the screw to work properly, we recommend going to a local hardware store such as ACE Hardware to get the right size.

This is my second Valkyrie optic and while the sight holds a zero, everything else falls apart. Lost the sight glass during a range shoot. Now I lost the glued on rubber power button during shooting. I guess you get what you pay for. Looks great as a shelf piece, but quality has been overlooked on minor things that typically do not fail

I looked over a number of these Pistol Optics and thought about getting one just about 3 times the cost of this one. Then because I have never used these types of Optics on a handgun I thought it would be a big waste if I didn't like it. I have always used the iron sights and actually never considered using anything like this. When I bought my last handgun it was one which has the mount already in place for these so I figured I would give it a go and deck it out with the ADE. I am really pleased with the sturdiness. While it is very light and easy to use after actually using it during sighting in it turns out to be crap. The aim if it was extremely close would still be almost impossible to center! It is way off of target and there is no way to get it close as the trim stops well before you can get there. Then after firing it drifts! Finally you have to take the optics off to lock it in place or remove your rear site!

Seems to seat well, nice window, clear glass with minimum glue compound that all rds have. Dot is nice and crisp. However I am unhappy I received a 6moa model and not the 4moa that was mentioned. I also see on ADE website that some models have a sealer plate and some may not. It would be nice to know which models they have them for, whether if you have to purchase separately or if it came with. I have not fully tested it however I feel it will be fine. The fde color is nice. I will update with a further review when it is tested fully.
