This is sturdy enough to use in my kitchen cabinet for baking pans and cutting boards. It easily holds my stone baking pans. I ordered another one.

This metal sorter has a modern and minimalist design. Each slot is wide enough to keep files or notes or papers organized and your desk clutter free. So far it is sturdy and stays put in one place. I have only used it for a month so I can't say about durability, but seems sturdy and well made.

I was looking for a nice vertical stand to hold several devices while charging - a bulky 17" laptop, a 12" tablet, a couple of phones. There are some beautiful wood and acrylic options available, but all the ones I looked at had poor reviews of breakage and devices falling as a result. I spotted this metal file sorter and thought, why not.It may not be the prettiest option out there but it works perfectly for this. The large heavy laptop lives in the second to last slot when not in use and it is completely stable all alone in the sorter. The other devices fit around it no problem. I have a tower style surge protector for charging so the cords are right there at the side. Everything fits neat and tidy on a little side table where it used to be just a pile of devices. Happy customer.

I love that you can use it vertically or stand it up on it's side. It's heavy enough it doesn't move on it's own so pulling out and replacing notebooks is a breeze.

Strong, and nicely designed so that you can use all the slots. You can also label them so when you look at them you can tell what is inside without searching.

This is exactly what you are expecting: a hard steel file sorter. Like you have to really try to bend it out of shape to ruin it. This'll be good for any heavy and/or big files. I use this for quick access to different size papers that I have to grab on demand. And I appreciate that the whole unit is flat and the bottom is not raised or at an angle.

I like that it was made of heavy metal. Big but, the bottom does not graduate upwards as does the top.The files are all the same height. Maybe, I overlooked that information in the description.
