The amazon configurator indicated this fit my 94 suburban TDI (6.5L). The alternator I received was for a passenger side mounting. Mine is driver side. In order to fit the driver side you must remove the 3 E8 long bolts, remove the pulley (24 or 25mm nut), separate the mounting plate a 1/2 inch or so and rotate the plate to match your in truck bracket. MAKE SURE you paint mark the position of the pulley nut and alternator shaft before you loosen it so you tighten it back to the same position. Its not hard but many folks may not have an E8 socket or a big enough wrench for the pulley nut.

Bought this alternator and waited a couple of months before I installed it. NO voltage output. Since it was past the month Amazon gives to return, I called ACDelco for warranty service. Was told they would file a claim through Amazon. Never heard back from either ACDelco or Amazon. Very Disappointed with both companies. Don't buy Delco products from Amazon.

Got this for my 1994 Chevy 5.7 back in August of this year took me literally only 15 minutes and bolts on just like my old OEM one. You can watch a youtube video on how to do this with some hand tools doesn't take much work to put it and is way cheaper than getting it from any auto parts store near me. Only have to take 2 bolts out, disconnect the connector at the back, and the ground cable too and that's it.

Nice looking unit and works well. Product was made in China unfortunately, not Mexico as stated. Shipped from Oregon USA, looks like. Arrived pretty fast to Edmonton, Five days. Pretty impressed with it, so far.
