Fit well and easy to install on my 2004 Mustang V6. My old alternator was squeaking badly and this fixed that. Well made. Time will tell if it lasts very long

I had to replace my daughter’s alternator in her Mustang. The auto parts store didn’t have what I needed so I turned to Amazon. Got a reasonable price on this alternator and it matched up perfectly. Works just fine with the results so far

Came on time and packaged well, Unbelievedly easy to install on my 02 Mustang. But that, of course, is primarily thanks to the way it's mounted on the car. Took less than an hour and all the numbers check out. Been on about a week and been driven under full load--lights, AC with fan, Radio and tape deck, etc.-- and battery has never missed a beat. Before the new alternator I would surely have had to charge the battery under these conditions. Cant say how long it will last but, for the price, if it goes more than three years I'll be satisfied.May 29, 2024 UPDATE: Lets face reality, buying through Amazon is not much better than a crap shoot. Best thing about it is free shipping, although that is somewhat refleceted in the price, and their guaranteed free returns if the product isn't up to standards.In this case, however, none of the benefits need to apply. The alternator exceeds my expectations. Everything I said in the rather glowing review above still applies and it has been in use for 8 months. Uncluding two three week business trips I took and I basically drive around town. You might say that I haven't been using the alternator much and you would be right but the fact is that kind of use is more taxing than a lot of over the highway driving. The battery has remained fully charged under each of the conditions I have put it through and I have no reason to believe it won't contiue to do so for the remainder of the three year criteria I placed on it when I got it. If it doesn't, I'll let you know. In the meantime, with very little rist, I highly recomment this product.

Great deal, great price point. Can't really go into detail. The alternator met (and maybe) exceeded expectations.
