This is the exact step pad I need, but it is difficult to get into the holders because the tabs bend easily and could break.

Fits good as an OEM part. Would have given it 5 stars if it was an OEM part. No GM stamp on the part. I thought I was buying OEM.

Step pad replacement fits perfect. But it's hard to install with out the clips that's advertised to come with pad. Now I have wait for dealer to open to get clips cause no one will respond back to me. I understand mistakes happen, we are only human. You gotta respect the clients and make it right with them.

This was a replacement for one sun cracked on my 2007 Silverado. Since I purchased the truck used, I can not say if this running board came with the truck, only that after an extensive search I found this one to be correct for my running board based on the tread pattern. Check closely to get an exact match. The toughest part of installation was removing the damaged tread, which I finally cut off with wire cutters and flat head screwdriver. Then I pushed the old pegs down into the running board and left them. The pegs from the new tread simply press into holes in the metal running board, but they have to be the right treads for the holes to line up.
