This is a great, affordable, ergonomic paddle. I was a bit skeptical given the lack of reviews, but it’s exactly as it looks in the picture. Nice and lightweight as well. Two quibbles: 1) I REALLY wish they made a straight blade version of this paddle! I know some people prefer bent shaft/blade paddles, but I find that the slight angle means I need to extend a bit more at the end of my J-strokes to get enough counter steer. 2) On the palm swell, my paddle had some noticeable cosmetic imperfections, including a fairly deep cut. I almost returned it simply on principle, but my eagerness to get out on the water this spring to try it won out.TLDR: I highly recommend this paddle but would prefer a straight blade version.
