The paddle is very stiff and relatively light. Great for canoeing with the whole family. I have a 56 inches long one for myself.

Comfortable grip and oval shaft. Lightweight and stiff. The rock guard protection covers the edge of the entire blade and the finish on the paddle is tough. The pattern on the blade is attractive and the paddle is quiet in the water.

Beautiful and amazingly lightweight. We're back to straight paddles after (too) many years with bent paddles. Straight paddles allow forbetter maneuvering, and I think a more efficient stroke. A perfect weight/price point. Recommended.
