Ok so it’s not going to stop it being stolen. But it’s so quick and easy to use and you always know it’s not just going to be taken by the first person to fancy taking it.

I had high hopes for the lock and bag and dispite waiting a month for it to ship from australia.Firstly it doesn't fully fit the ABUS 2023 Framelock Granit Xplus 6950M. It will lock in place but the attachment bolt does not go all the way into the frame lock. So there is an extra bit of bolt sticking out. Abus really could have made thier compatibility a little easier to follow. From what i can tell the 6950M doesn't have a compatible etension chain.Part of the reason I got this lock was because of the bag which from the single picture of it looks easy to attach to a bike frame. It is not a single long strap it's two small velcro straps that would be better suited to wrapping around a fork than a single tube. I found a spot to attach it to my rack, but I really wanted to put it on my frame. That and this is really not a very secure chain at 6mm. I will only be using it to secure my front wheel and I feel like I should have gotten a U lock for that anyway. Most of the reason I chose this over a U lock was I thought it would be more convient to attach to the frame. I defiinitely recommend a different purchase than this ABUS system if you are concerned about theft. For the amount spent on the frame lock and adapter chain you could get far more secure options. Or if you are less concerned about security you could spend less and just get a cheaper Ulock with a cheap chain.Needless to say I am all-around very dissapointed in this purchase.

Super easy to wrap around an anchored object and secure the bike. Easier than a Ulock

The Abus cafe lock system is SO tempting because it is quick and easy to loop and lock. And it LOOKS secure. But search bolt cutters on THIS website. A bolt cutter that can instantly defeat this chain costs LESS THAN HALF of what you are thinking of paying for the chain. It fits in a backpack and every bike thief has one.DON'T DO IT. I wish someone had pointed this out to me before it cost me a very nice eBike. I left the bike for 15 minutes on a busy street at 9:30 in the morning. It was gone and the thief barely broke stride, they cut this so quickly.EXCEPTION: as a second lock -- and only as a second lock to a very tough U-lock -- this might be OK.

Most ABUS frame/cafe locks have the ability to use this chain adaptor. The lock itself only immobilizes 1 wheel - with this chain accessory you can also anchor your bike to something solid, like a metal bike rack or a study pole. And using the same key as the frame lock for both. Being a chain it easily can be stowed in a pouch or other container, and the cloth sheath reduces noise, prevents scratches, and makes it more pleasant to handle. I fitted my bike with a small pouch just to carry it. These chains come in different lengths, and mine is the longest at 130 cm/51". I wouldn't recommend getting a shorter one for general use. I highly recommend this, makes your ABUS frame lock complete and more effective. NOTE: Does not work alone, must be used with an installed ABUS frame/cafe lock.
