I ordered this set to deal with a single 1/4-20 thread that stripped out of the cylinder head on a small Briggs and Stratton engine. Next Day shipping drew me in so that I could get the job finished. It was meant to arrive Saturday 20 Jan, then I got a notice it wouldn't arrive until Tuesday 23 Jan, and it actually arrived Monday 20 Jan.Looked great - including the steel box which was a bonus over the expected plastic box. The box label said the right thing - Helicoil Repair Kit SAE.Alas on opening the box, I'm present with a plastic tray full of drills, taps, helicoils, etc all neatly compartmentalised - and labelled for METRIC!!!Really whoever made this - Metric stuff in an SAE labelled box?????Asked for a replacement on Monday - no next day shipping promise now - I've got to wait until Thursday to get what in all likelihood will be another Metric set.Buggar!!!!

Not the best quality, had to give drill bits a quick sharpening, the box was a little bent and the plastic tray broken. The taps work good just make sure you use tapping fluid as they need lots as not highest quality.

If it sounds too good to be true... I had hopes that all I needed to do was use this set twice on two different sizes and it would pay for itself over buying Helicoils and would have several other sizes should I need thein the future. unfortunately the set I received the taps are made so poorly they just tear out the material and will not cut threads. I hope they have not damaged the hole to the extent that I can't save it with a legit Helicoil.
