I have used many different microphone systems, both wired and wireless, as a professional vocalist and worship leader for over 20 years. Truthfully, at this price point, I wasn't expecting much, but I was intrigued by the ability to to turn my existing, quality Shure Beta 58a into a wireless set up simply by plugging these in. No antennas, no line of sight required. On a fixed stage, I just plugged the receiver into the floor jack where my mic normally connects to the Allen and Heath digital mixer, and then disconnected the mic cable and plugged the transmitter into my mic (you should turn them both on first and wait for the green light before plugging them in).Since there were two other 2.4mhz devices in the mix with a full band, I expected problems. There's no way to select a frequency channel and no control over anything but the power. I assumed there would be interference, dropouts, static, or problems mixing it against other wired mics. I was honestly stunned to experience none of those problems. I did have to turn down the gain from the board, but other than that, it worked flawlessly for 3 hours on a full charge. If you are a church/school/solo artist that needs an affordable solution for wireless mics, I can't recommend this highly enough. Be sure to test it out with a room full of people for a real world run, but for our little church in NC, it worked great. No loss of tone and maybe a just barely noticeable bit of latency. The band could not believe it and neither could I.

A little difficult to pair when using two separate sets. Atherwise works exactly as you’d expect. Some static starting around 2k but negligible.

The unit worked very well on the gig. It was great not having to wind up cords at the end of the night. Makes for a cleaner stage area and you aren’t stepping on the cords all night.

I got this to wirelessly connect my electric cello to a large amplified speaker. It connects easily and works, but there’s an annoying background hiss that I don’t get when using a cable and didn’t experience when borrowing a friend’s pricier setup. Also, once you put the 1/4” adapter on this, it’s quite large. If it weren’t for the hiss, I’d purchase a right-angle XLR-1/4” adapter to make it more compact.

Works great with my Shure SM58. Plenty of range. Sounds as good as a cable. No drop-outs or interference. Very happy with product.

I got this pair of wireless microphone converters thinking I would be using them off label to connect a bass guitar to an amplifier. Upon reading the instructions however I saw that the pair has an instrument mode as well as a KTV mode. KTV has something to do with karaoke and I know nothing about karaoke. So I have no idea how to test KTV mode. The bass plays equally well through the wireless connection in either mode.It has two units that look nearly identical except for the sex of the XLR connectors on the two units. The transmitter plugs into the microphone or instrument and the receiver plugs into the amplifier system. It comes with a pair of XLR to quarter inch adapters so that both parts can plug into either of those connector types as needed. It comes with a dual USB charging cable so that both can easily be charged at once. You have to supply your own USB charger. Most of us have boxes of them by now.I tested it with a Fender Reggie Hamilton Standard Jazz Bass and a Peavey KB-100 keyboard amp, both typical of the instrument amplifiers and electric guitars you might want to use these with. That bass has a passive mode with a high output impedance typical of passive guitars and basses. It also has an active mode with the low output impedance that on board preamps provide. There is a considerable volume difference between the two modes which means the transmitter has a low input impedance which attenuates the bass signal in passive mode unlike the high input impedance of an instrument amplifier. This can be compensated by adjusting the volume but the tone also changes and that might annoy owners who want to use these with passive guitars. It should not be an issue with active guitars and it doesn't bother me in my practice setup. The manufacturer claims a 100 foot range. My basement is 40 feet long so that is the maximum I could test at. It works fine at 40 feet. I have no microphones to test them with.I am pleased with the performance and the tone of these devices. I play bass guitar for a worship band at our church and the church supply's all the amps and gear when I play there. So this is just used for my personal rehearsal setup in my basement. They should work well for anyone who wants a wireless instrument "cable" except for the possibility of a tone issue caused by impedance differences as mentioned above.
