I thought this stand could hold guitars like the ones at the music store. I should have bought one of theirs. The first one arrived with a broken weld. The second o e collapsed with guitars and ukuleles on it. It’s now leaning against the wall for support and I need to find something else to put the instruments on. Garbage. Total piece of crap. Maybe I can return it.

This product is sturdy and an exact fit for my needs. It racks my Martin tenor guitar, resonator tenor and solid body electric tenor on the bottom, 2 four string baritone ukuleles and 1 eight string baritone ukulele on the middle level and on top , 2 tenor ukuleles and 1 concert ukulele. It provides secure storage and easy access. It’s not very difficult to adjust to your needs.

This stand was pretty easy to setup. I spent awhile getting all the layers to the proper height for the instruments I wanted to hang. It did take a little bit of elbow grease to tighten the screw terminals that hold everything together, but it wasn’t uncomfortable for me (6’4” male). The screw terminals that help clamp the pieces together have sturdy wings that provide lots of leverage and make tightening much easier.I’ve picked instruments off the stand pretty quickly. It does shake a little bit due to the shape of the stand, but it’s never been concerning to me. It feels plenty sturdy for the instruments I have hanging.I’ve had so many pleasant conversations with people just mesmerized by it, and I very much enjoy looking at it myself. I’m hoping to get another one as soon as the budget allows!

It looks amazing with some of my basses on bottom, leads in the middle, and rhythms on top. My son loves it and has adopted it as our new Christmas tree.

awesome product... very sturdy.and plenty of space for jnstuments.. I feared it would be huge but in actuality its a good size for my home. easy enough to assemble without instructions BUT clear guidance and labeled parts would make life so much easier... all in all great to hold 3 guitars 2 mandolins and 2 ukes. With room for a parts mandolin and a small accessory bag.

I own and play a number of different stringed instruments: bass guitar, mandolin, ukulele, balalaika, weird far-Eastern instruments, etc. I've found this rack to be a great space saver for them. It holds a total of 9 instruments, 3 on each level. You could optionally leave the top tier off and just make it a shorter rack that holds a total of 6 instruments. Currently I have 3 bass guitars on the bottom rack, and 6 miscellaneous smaller instruments (ukuleles, mandolins, a DeArmond Ashbory bass, etc.) on the upper racks. Some of the reviewers have pointed out that this rack isn't the most stable. It is admittedly rather light, for better or worse. I haven't had any problems with things crashing, but any tall rack like this is not something you want to have in a high-traffic pedestrian area of your home. I suppose you could weigh down the bottom center with something, but I haven't had the need to do it. I have 3 bass guitars along the bottom, but I don't know how comfortable I would be with hanging heavy instruments like that on the middle and top racks. Also, there are no assembly instructions, but I was able to figure out how the two upper rack pieces properly fit. Some of the little plastic plugs that stick into the sides of the rest bars had popped out during shipping, but they were easy enough to pop back in.Despite any short comings though, I still say this is a great solution if, like me, you have a mix of regular and smaller-sized stringed instruments, and just you want to keep them all in the same place. With my rack full, this spans about 27" in diameter on the bottom (including the protruding edges of my bass guitar bodies), and 6 feet tall (from the floor to the top edge of my mandolin head in the top rack). I find that I'm much more apt now to happily pick up and play the different instruments I have, now that I can see them all out in the open, instead of stowed away in various gig bags.

The guitar stand is perfect, the adjustable levels make it easy to hang intruments of all sizes we hung an acoustic, electric, bass, banjo, violin, and ukele with no problem. Its light weight and allowed us to hang up all our guitars without taking up a lot of space.
