I don't use it often but always good to have on hand. Pulled it out last weekend lots of meat on the diamond carbide and spacing on the segments was good. Started freehand and sliced through 4" like butter. It as a good buy.

We were able to drill 18 holes with ONE. Bit still looks brand new. Far exceeded our expectations.

Work great for our work can drill more holes for better price. Was buying at blurock but these are better and so much cheaper.

I've done a bit of core drilling - it's not something I do every day. I do occasionally build / weld up steel gates, fencing and handrails that often require core drilling for the install. Usually the 3 to 4" diameter. This review is for the 3" x 14" DaduoRi Core Bit - first bit I've owned that is longer than my third arm.Set up: DaduoRi Core Bit, Bosch SDS Rotary Hammer (used on straight drill / no hammer), 1 1/4" to SDS adapter, template made with 3" hole saw in a piece of 1x pine, gallon jug water with pin holes to provide a slow flood.Max RPM on is 450 - tried to stay in between 1/2 to 3/4 on the trigger.I drilled into a 3" concrete block laden with aggregate. If I had known there was so much rock in it I might have chose something else. Fortunately, other than slowing the drill down, the aggregate didn't present any problems for this DaduoRi Core Bit. With a lot of rock though, I have to say, it's a race for the tortoise not the hare. My rotary hammer scolded me when I tried to use too much pressure. The end result was a nice hole cut, and diamonds weren't noticeably phased, can still feel their protrusion on the outer diameter of the bit. That's more than I can say for a lot of bits I've used, and gives me confidence that DaduoRi knows how to make a core drill. So 5 Stars for the DaduoRi 3" Core Bit.Thanks for Reading

I have used the 2.5" version to drill through a 22" thick retaining wall enforced with rebars. The bit had no issues and still has about ⅓ of diamonds left. Go slow and use water cooling. The price is right.

In a recent remodel, to install an island, I found that I needed to drill through the 10 in concrete foundation wall. This did the job. It worked a lot better than I thought it was going to. I was very impressedI used a two and a half inch hole saw to cut through the wooden sill plate of the exterior wall, then swapped to this for the concrete. As others have mentioned this is not quick. It took roughly four and a half hours to drill through 10 in of concrete. As the instructions tell you do not use a hammer drill, this will break the carbide off the drill bit. Keep it slow, keep it clean, and keep it wet and you won't have any problems.I was a little bummed out, spending that much money to drill one hole, but in the long run it was worth it. The plumber I talked to, was going to charge $300, which is more than three times what I paid for this drill bit.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs it.

Used one time and teeth bent and broke off. Spend a few dollars more on a better product

Ok, this is a nice long bit that works well when used with jig that holds it in place or when you precut the start with a diamond bit. If you are trying to cut manually with no jib this bit will walk around without biting in. Precut with a dry diamond bit and it works like a champ.I had a thick slab with rebar in it and this cut the 10 inch slab with no problems. Just remember, it is NOT quick and if you are doing it by hand, be careful to keep the bit perpendicular or on the angle you require. I found a tendency to lean too much forward when using it and that changes the angle which is pretty much impossible to fix. So, take your time and use a jig if you can. Worth the money and setup besides being easier to complete.
