CXTM 7 to 6 Pin Trailer AdapterTypical arrival times were good.Because of other reviews warning of loose connections, I checked. The center pin on the 7-pin connector has no conductor connected; that’s the 7 to 6 pin configuration, and that’s okay. The set screw for that center pin had come loose and was rattling around inside the connector. It could have shorted other connections. So, not a bad idea to open the connectors up and have a look, checking the screws for tightness, even the 7-pin connector’s center pin that should be empty. Either tighten its screw or remove completely.The cable was smaller in diameter. I suspect smaller conductors, and that’s not a problem. It was a little shorter than the old one I was replacing. The old one probably stretched. The coils on this one were pretty tight. I was worried a good bump might cause a disconnect, though each of the connectors, when seated, are latched. I found myself checking the hitch camera a few times, but all was good.

Nice product, looks good built solid! I recommend this if your needing lights and brakes from your vehicle to your tow.

I bought this umbilical to replace the one I shredded down the highway when it came out of the blueox cover. Seems to be good quality and perfect replacement.
