Nice bits, but individual cases are a little cheap. Bits are sharp and cut well. Should last for a long time.

Qualitativ sind die Teile OK. Sie machen was sie sollen. Mit Messschieber nachgemessen, die Maße stimmen. Sie sind scharf und hinterlassen saubere Borhlöcher. Über die Standzeiten möchte ich mich nicht auslassen und lasse mich überraschen. Aber zu dem Preis, bestellt man einfach neu und bringt die alten in den Wertstoffkreislauf zurück. Kann ich für Hobby, wo sie nicht jeden Tag gebraucht werden, nur empfehlen. Sind jeden Cent wert. Habe deutlich teurere Modelle von bekannten Herstellern, die nicht besser sind. Vielleicht halten sie länger. Aber sonst..........

This is a good assortment of forstner bit for occasional use. Each bit is individually boxed with out any identification on the individual boxes (shanks are labeled) . I opened each box, and labeled the individual box with the MM then I also looked in the description for the fraction equivalent and also label each box with that I.E. 25 MM = 1" I took out about five random bits and drilled holes in scrap wood. They met my needs, so I cannot say anything about the lasting sharpness. The individual boxes are shipped in one larger box; good lucking fitting these back in the same box. It is like a puzzle. But I did not need the shipping box anyway.

Got these because they were cheap (but had some good reviews?) Apparently these work okay for many people, what do I know? I tried these on poplar with my drill press, and while they do indeed drill forstner type holes, they are very rough with a lot of tear out in the beginning on top and some in the middle. Even worse on pine. They are dull. Do not expect clean holes. Wow.My advice: Don't waste your time and money like I did. No more cheap risks like this for me. I'm going to save in the long run and buy only the exact sizes high quality Fisch Wave Cutter Forstner bits that I need for each project as I go.

Ich habe mir die forstnerbohrer zugelegt weil ich gerne mit Holz bastel und meine alten so noch und nach total verschlossen waren.Was mir sehr gut gefällt ist dass die Bohrer alle einzeln verpackt sind und man sie somit gut und sicher verstauen kann. Was schade ist ist dass die einzelnen Dosen nicht beschriftet sind und man somit immer mehrere aufmachen muss bis man den passenden Bohrer gefunden hat und der Kunststoff der Hüllen könnte etwas dicker sein.Die Bohrer an sich sind aber top, sie schneiden gut, sind von den Größen her passend und erfüllen somit ihren Zweck.Ich gebe 5 Sterne da die Bohrer top sind, nur leichte Abstriche bei der Verpackung gemacht werden müssen, dass betrifft aber weder Funktion noch Qualität der Bohrer.

Does the job and does it well. At first I was a little worried whe I saw they don’t have much grip on the bit that goes into the drill, but it held very well and did the job perfect, didn’t move out of place a single bit. Nicely and individuality packed to keep it in best condition for as long as possible, very good value for money when you think an original would set you back as much as the whole set of these. I’m an enthusiast diy’er and this is more than enough for me.

Great for the cost, but it's a bit frustrating that the shank diameters differ across the set. This makes using an extension bit--such as when drilling out peppermill blanks for wood turners--quite problematic. At best, you'll need multiple extenders, and the shank can be off-center causing an in accurate hole. If, however, you're commonly drilling holes for hinges and similar things, where you have a typical depth and easy access, this set would be great for metric sizes.

These turned out to be so much more fun and useful than I had originally thought. I was going to return them but they work so much better than spade bits and the sizes are more diverse. So even if I want to do recessed bolts or screws, I'll just use two smaller ones in this set. Use them so much I've had to rust-treat my spades.

Been working on a few projects around the house over this holiday vacation and found myself needing some forstner drill bits. I went down to the local hardware store only to find the cheapest sets that had 15+ bits were roughly 50 dollars - me trying to save money said no thanks and went right to Amazon. Looked around for a bit and cam across these bits. I tried them on wood first - they were sharp and had no problem getting through the hardwood and PVC tubing I was using these on.Great quality, stayed sharp through roughly 25 holes drilled (hardwood) and a few PVC - Recommend to anyone who is in need of forstner bits and are tired of paying the big box store prices.

Just used the 22mm one tonight for the first time - I found it was sharp a true - it cut easily and ejected consistent shavings very well - the hole was very smooth - the smell of cut yellow heart makes me sick (just simply hate the smell) so I was glad to get through it fast with no burning - I would recommend this set as it appears to be a stout set of bits for a low price.
