Nothing super fancy and they are made of plastic but they do what they're intended to do--cover gaps between post and deck.The 2 halves snap together easily and screws are included to secure them to the post.

My husband had me order this set of 6 to try out, he likes them so much he's about to order more. They fit snugly and they're easy to attach. Slide them around the post through the open side, slide the cover back together and screw it to the post. We wanted white, but for $1.67 each it was cheaper to get these and just paint them white when we paint the deck.
