I absolutely loved this mantle. It is well made from real wood and not covered with veneer. I have some good levels and put it up within 10 minutes over my fireplace. It was packed well and if I could rate this mantle a 100 out of 5 I would.

The wood has dents and dings. I am short on time with the project so I decided I would paint it. That made it worse.I have painted other wood mantels doing flipsThis one is just too damaged to use .Wood filler made the man made imperfectionsEven worseI’ll try to return it…. Hopefully they will accept it even painted and I’ll order somewhere elseHonestly I’ve never seen something of this low quality being sold on Amazon without reviews to reflect

I used this as a thick floating shelf instead of an actual fireplace mantle, and I am so happy with how this looks.Measurements are true to size. It is real wood. It’s built well. Packaged well. Gave extra anchors for different types of wall.It is a perfect medium stain with a touch of orange. My floors have the same orangey accent tone in them so this is what I was looking for, but this note is for the people who don’t want that.Installation was easy. If you can hang a large picture, you can hang this. It should take two people just because of the weight though. We added a couple extra holes so we could drill it into studs and the shelf is solid. It is held up by a long piece of real wood, fashioned similar to a French cleat. The shelf has metal brackets that slide in between the wood piece and the wall. Simple process, took more time deciding where on the wall to put it than actually installing it.Looks great, sturdy, and holds a good amount of weight on any part of the shelf. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it!

This mantel is lightweight and was easy to install. Looks great on a shiplap wall over an electric fireplace. There’s even enough space to hide wires or items inside the mantel. Would buy again.

We installed this under our TV during a fireplace project in our living room. Absolutely love it! So easy to install. It looks great - adding a little rustic to our farmhouse 🤗! Very durable (though I've never hung from it), it definitely serves the purpose that I ordered it for and I love it!!
