The ONLY difference from the one I replaced was the black o-ring. Baffle is a little more shallow than original but works fine. Company charges TEN DOLLARS more for the black o-ring instead of the white o-ring. Well played seller. We see you. And, don't even try to say black costs more to produce than white.

Not sure what people are griping about or why this is frequently returned. Does it melt or something? So far so good for me — looks great, fits perfect.

Ordered 2 of these for 6" juno recessed can light fixtures. Looks like one of the packages were opened, only had 1 goof ring between the 2 kits.

It serves the purpose in a very affordable way. However, it is not perfect.First of all, the trim is too slim. If you have a perfectly cut 6in hole and a perfectly centered housing, it would be fine. But if anything else is not that perfect, chances are that this trim may not be able to cover everything. I understand this is not because this particular product's fault. But I'd point this out as this may cause big problems. (1 star is not deducted for this though)Secondly, the springs are either too soft or too long. I have to lift the socket in the housing to the very top so that the springs could be stretched long enough to be able to barely hold the baffle and the trim. I deduct 3/4 star for this reason.Finally, the cushion underneath the trim is flimsy and very hard to put in position. I guess if the spring is strong enough, it would be better. I deduct 1/4 star for this reason.All in all, it worked for me after some very careful adjustment. For thie price, I probably shouldn't have complained...

This baffle can't be beat for the low price. It is a quality product that looks better than the original Halo baffles that it replaced.

We used these to replace the old faded white ones that we had. Great facelift for our kitchen for a very reasonable price. They have a smaller hole in the center than the originals and so they even fit better than the white ones since we now have the CFL spots and they are a smaller diameter than the incandescent bulbs. It is a much cleaner look.

It's a can light ring; why anyone would pay $40 a piece for one I can't understand. The price is right on this model and they look great. They're easy to install to boot.
