I needed a bit to go into a 1/4" shaft router and cut aluminum. It needed it to cut a depressed circle in plate aluminum. It was 3/16" deep. Worked as advertised.

This is a precision end mill bit enabling you to create square channels in metal or wood that is 1/8" in width. Even though this in a round bit, you can also make very precise circles with flat bottoms as well. The four flutes help in ejecting the milled material out of the way of the bit send as your CNC machine makes the desire cut or design that you can programed. The end is is also very sharp making it ideal for soft metals leaving very little tooling marks. In wood, it is perfectly flat and true square groves as the bit moves across.
