Took a chance and ordered these brackets because I did not want the classic nail an curlers for the new gutters I was installing. These brackets are solid and robust and do not bend when installing. At a fraction of the cost compared to in store, I would highly recommend these.

I recently installed aluminum gutters and was hesitant to try these because they are so much less expensive than what I could find in the local stores. For the first section I used the Amerimax brand hangers at over $2 each so I was able to compare the two. These installed exactly the same way at less than half the cost. The hangers and hardware is the majority of cost to install gutters so these made a big difference in my cost. If you are installing gutters hidden hangers are the way to go regardless of what type you buy. You can place them on the gutter with the proper spacing and then when you lift the gutter to install it, it's just a matter of driving each screw home. It makes hanging gutters faster, more secure, and easier than any other type of hanger.

We had some strong winds here in CT a couple of weeks ago. The wind was strong enough that one of the gutters were ripped off and was dangling precariously by just one gutter nail.Although winter has been mild so far in the Northeast, there is forecast for some snow and rain the in the next few days. I wanted to make sure the gutter was fixed up before that happened. I received the product a few days after ordering (not the usual Prime speed but in these days with Covid-19, it was absolutely understandable.Note that the gutter in question was secured originally by gutter nails (not screws). Securing and installing the brackets was extremely easy. Note that you need to take a pause and make sure you have brackets installed on to the gutters (not screwed in but just installed on to the gutter) before you start driving these home. Once installed it is going to be a pain to install another bracket as the gutter would not flex. Besides that they installed as expected and they seem sturdy. Only time will tell if the longevity is there but so far so good. Much better than the gutter nails for sure. If you have just a few nails that have come out, you can also try removing the nails that are loose and replacing them with Lag screws. As always stay safe on the ladder and always use a spotter. Take your time and do not rush.

2nd order of this product, 5 stars for FAST shipping. I received the product 24hrs after ordering (not the usual Prime speed in these days with Covid-19 ) It was awsome to finish the install before vacation renters showed up. ((( ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS ))) I have used hangers like these for decades however over the winter due to ice almost all of the screws broke in half leaving a 40' gutter hanging by 3 clips and the back of the gutter by some sheet metal screws to set it to a chalk line for installation. The clips were 24 o/c and I have never seen a fastener mass failure like the screws that come with this product. I since replaced ALL the screws on previous installs with Tapcon Concrete Anchors because they are used to hold houses down to cement slabs and are indestructible, " Ideal for demanding applications like sill plates, heavy equipment, industrial shelving" " corrosion-resistant coating enables them to withstand the harshest conditions " I will repurchase this item in the future, and I just did however do yourself a favor and toss the screws that come with the clips and Tapcon it!
