The post base is made of Q235B steel. The surface has smooth black powder-coating . Not only can it be waterproof and rustproof. It can also be used for a long time.

The post base has an actual inner size of 3.5 "x 3.5", length 5.4 "and 5.6"Height. It can be used on wood or concrete floors.
Unique Design At The Bottom
The bottom of the base is a special design. There are numerous drainage holes. Base is 0.6in heigh to prevent the wood from contact with the ground.

The work great. They fit Lowes/Depots 6x6's. Because their wood is 5.5 inches, same as this product. One year of heat they look great, would buy again.

I've built a few outdoor structures, and I've tried different approaches to construction, but I have to tell you . . . this was the best yet! LOVE these bases! They're super solid and haven't allowed for an iota of movement in my latest structure! These bases were less than half the cost locally, and made of a stronger, thicker metal. The black enhances the wrought iron in my railings, and I could not be more pleased! If you're looking for post bases, look no further! (Or is it "farther"?) Whatever. Whichever. Your choice. But if these post anchors aren't your choice, you're . . . wrong! I'm in love . . . with a post base!

The bases are ok not as thick as I expected but they do work good. It is a good setup and I would definitely buy again. But as other reviews mention I would get bigger sturdier screws. Otherwise it works great for the purpose.

I used these to anchor my posts for a privacy fence. The product comes with anchor screws to attach to concrete and screws to attach posts to bracket. The color black matte is really pretty and is machined very well. For the price they are a best buy. Great product. I will purchase again

This is exactly what I was looking for the gauge of the metal is good and the design that includes lifting the post off the bottom is well thought out. The only weakness would be that the concrete anchors are light duty and too Short to align 6 holes at a time.

These are garbage. Produced in someone's garage I'm sure. They fit way too large and are very difficult to square up. Even comes with a letter saying they may be too small, or too large. It's all "normal" It should be quite straight forward. Make them the same every time with the right dimensions and you'll have happier customers. I absolutely do not recommend this product.

They work pretty good. More than enough room to fit a 4X4. I would have liked a slightly snugger fit but it works.

Overall this is a good value, but the metal used is not very strong and bends when screws are inserted through the base into the wood. Also notable, the 1/4 wedge anchors provided are likely undersize for most applications. As others have noted, I had to drill out the hole and use larger anchors. Also as others have noted, it would be nice to have additional screw holes on the other 2 sides. Still a good value despite the drawbacks- just budget for additional larger anchors.
