It works good . If using a 4 x 4 post, 1 side of the post will have to be shaved down so the post will go in.

I bought this to replace an existing post that took four by fours. Didn’t pay attention to see that it took 3.25 x 3.25. Next time I need to be more aware what I am buying. And good luck finding pressure treated 3.25 lumber.
